Innovative medicine is providing hope that treatment of certain breast and bladder cancers will improve. When applied to cases that were found very early and had not spread, the drugs were a cure - that is if the cancer was found very early and was localised. Some doctors say these drugs - that have a missile-like precision - are so effective they could even potentially replace traditional chemotherapy one day.
