Over 10,000 CCTV cameras installed nationwide — National Security Coordinator

The National Security Coordinator COP Osman Abdul Razak has revealed that over 10,000 CCTV cameras have been installed across the country to enhance surveillance, monitor public spaces and support crime prevention efforts.

He said the move is part of a national security strategy to improve response times and ensure safer environments.

COP Abdul Razak made the announcement at the opening of a new Signals Bureau facility in Koforidua where he emphasized the importance of technology in modern security operations.
