Fire ravages Inchaban Market in Shama, Western Region, destroying 10 shops

A dawn inferno tore through the Inchaban Market in the Shama Municipality early Wednesday, reducing at least 10 shops to ashes and leaving several traders counting their losses.

The fire, which started around 2 a.m., swiftly engulfed parts of the market, damaging goods and property worth millions of cedis. Out of the 230 shops in the market, 7 were completely destroyed. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
