Seven face trial for starting destructive 2024 Chile wildfires

Investigators and police in Chile are trying to hunt down those responsible for lighting wildfires that so far have destroyed at least 17,000 hectares. Finding the offenders is extremely difficult and rare, but after a year of intensive police work, seven people have been charged.
