Gaza hit by fresh Israeli strikes

Witnesses in besieged Gaza reported fresh Israeli strikes overnight into Saturday around Rafah. Palestinians living in Rafah are desperate for a ceasefire. On Saturday, Hamas said it was studying on the latest Israeli counterproposal, a day after a delegation from mediator Egypt reportedly arrived in Israel in a bid to jump-start stalled negotiations.
