Togo legislative and regional elections: the campaign nears end

The campaign in Togo ends this Sunday (April 28) with an electoral silence period. This time, legislative and regional elections are combined to also appoint senators. The country's constitution change coincides with this campaign season. Elections are set for Monday April 29th. Once the Togolese president officially declares the new constitution, the country will shift to a parliamentary system, and legislative votes will replace presidential elections.
