'There is a feeling of fear in Rafah where people are anticipating an Israeli offensive', aid group says

Hamas said it was studying on Saturday (April 27) the latest Israeli counterproposal regarding a potential ceasefire in Gaza, a day after a delegation from mediator Egypt reportedly arrived in Israel in a bid to jump-start stalled negotiations. "There is a feeling of fear throughout the Gaza Strip and in particular in Rafah where people are anticipating this Israeli offensive", she said. "We are very concerned about what could happen in the next few weeks. And we continue to implore world leaders to push for a ceasefire immediately', she added.
