Police present security measures to safeguard immense Olympics opening ceremony

French police on Thursday revealed sprawling security measures it will undertake to safeguard the immense Paris Olympics opening ceremony later this year. Special anti-terrorism measures will be put in place on the waters of the river Seine, which is set to play an important part in the ceremony, as well as surrounding buildings and their inhabitants, Paris police chief Laurent Nunez told a news conference dedicated to security at the Olympics.
