Landfill fire envelops New Delhi in smoke

Residents in New Delhi complained of breathing problems on Monday (April 22) after a massive fire broke out at a Ghazipur landfill the day before. Large plumes of smoke continued to rise from the burning landfill in the city's eastern district, where excavators were seen removing piles of garbage to deescalate the fire on Sunday (April 21) night.
