The news of the blasts in Iran came on the last day of the meeting of G7 foreign ministers on the Italian island of Capri. The top diplomats of the seven leading industrial democracies warned of new sanctions against Iran for its drone and missile attack on Israel. They called on both sides to avoid an escalation of the conflict.
