Solomon Islanders vote in election that could shape ties with China

Vote counting is underway in the Solomon Islands – in an election that could decide the fate of the South Pacific nation's ties with China. Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare has pledged to bring the country closer to Beijing. His opponents say the growing Chinese influence needs to be reconsidered. But this issue is not the main concern of most voters.
