The United Nations is launching a $2.8bn appeal to provide aid to the Palestinian population in Gaza. It's as the UK foreign secretary Lord Cameron has urged Israel to do "as little as possible to escalate" tensions in the Middle East, ahead of talks with PM Benjamin Netanyahu.
