Residents of Adenta rise in protest after highway deaths

On November 3, 2018, residents of Adenta, a suburb in Accra poured out on the major road connecting the national capital to Aburi. They were protesting the death of a young lady who was knocked down by a speeding vehicle on the highway. The Residents said close to 200 pedestrians have been knocked down on the stretch due to the uncompleted footbridges on the road. Citi TV's Umaru Sanda Amadu went to the scene of the accident to assess the situation.
