Kenyan police fire tear gas, arrest opposition figures at protest

Kenyan police say a student was killed after officers opened fire during clashes with anti-government protesters, angry at the rising cost of living and fuel shortages. The rallies were led by opposition leader Raila Odinga. Police used tear gas on his convoy also. He has pledged to hold weekly protests in the capital.
