French pension reform strikes: Third wave of walkouts, severe disruptions expected

A third day of nationwide strikes is gripping France today. This over the government's controversial plan to reform the country's pension system. Debates have begun over in parliament, with Macron's party pinning its hopes on support from the right to push through the legislation. Severe disruptions are expected on the public transport, with one in five flights out of Orly airport set to be cancelled.
