Memphis Police Department permanently deactivates Scorpion unit

The move to deactivate the unit, which was originally formed to fight violent street crime, comes just a day after five of its officers were seen brutally beating Tyre Nichols on video. All five of the former officers are being charged with murder and are set to face a judge next month.
