Palestinian man killed by Israeli forces in occupied West Bank

The European Union's top diplomat Josep Borrell has called for an investigation after a 22-year-old was shot dead by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has labelled the man's killing as akin to an execution. Rising tensions have made this the most violent year for Palestinians since 2006, with almost 160 killed in the occupied West Bank, nearly all of them by Israeli forces.
