2022 Nobel Peace Prize: 'We wanted to highlight importance of civil society'

A trio of human rights watchdogs from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine won the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday. Speaking to FRANCE 24, Norwegian lawyer and Nobel Committee chair, Berit Reiss-Andersen explained why this choice of laureates drawn from three nations at the centre of the war in Ukraine is highly symbolic.
