How Pakistan's flood catastrophe destroyed the agricultural industry | DW News

A difficult time for many economies to be sure. But countries are also having to face the consequences of climate change-fueled natural disasters. The recent floods in Pakistan claimed more than fifteen hundred lives. And the government estimates losses of around thirty billion dollars. The food supply has also been endangered after wide swathes of agricultural land were affected. Wheat is planted mainly in Punjab. But wheat fields are also found in the province of Sindh, which was heavily affected by the floods.
