Taliban: Religious leaders have issues with girls schools - BBC News

It's been one year since the Taliban seized power in Afghanistan. The country is facing a severe economic and humanitarian crisis, and there are growing security concerns.

The US claimed two weeks ago that it killed Al Qaeda's chief Ayman Al Zawahiri in Kabul.

But one of the most significant issues in an Afghanistan under the Taliban is that girls are barred from secondary schools in most parts of the country.
