When Brexit happened one year ago, there was despair in the UK fishing industry.

Fishing communities felt they had been sacrificed to make a deal because foreign boats could still work in UK waters and UK exporters faced mountains of paperwork.

But innovations like online bidding have helped business grow and the dark clouds appear to be lifting
