Minnesota's Ice Highway, connecting remote towns, opens for second season

Plowing is underway for the second year of Minnesota's Ice Highway, a 37-mile road that runs across a frozen lake and takes motorists to the northernmost point in the continental United States, an inlet tucked between Lake of the Woods and Canada called the Northwest.
