French women travelling to Spain to seek abortion care
For the past two years, the French Senate has been considering a bill that would give women an extra two weeks to seek an abortion. Currently, the law allows abortions up to 12 weeks gestation. Each year, up to 5,000 French women travel abroad for an abortion because they have missed that deadline. For many, neighbouring Spain is an obvious choice, as FRANCE 24's Laura Cambaud and Sarah Morris report.
