Multiple sclerosis: Study finds Epstein-Barr virus triggers autoimmune disease
It's an important breakthrough for the 2.8 million people who suffer from multiple sclerosis worldwide. A recent study conducted in the US has found the strongest evidence yet that contracting a common virus known as Epstein-Barr, dramatically increases a person's chances of developing the rare disease.
