UN steps up response to Tonga disaster

The UN says it is stepping up its response to the volcanic eruption and tsunami in Tonga. The government has described it as an unprecedented disaster. Australia and New Zealand are sending aid by boat - because Tonga's main runway has been covered in ash. Al Jazeera's Wayne Hay reports from Auckland.
