Brazil begins COVID vaccines for children aged 5-11 despite Bolsonaro objection
Children in Brazil aged five to 11 are now receiving COVID-19 vaccine jabs - after a month of political wrangling. The vaccines were approved by the government health regulatory agency, ANVISA, in December 2021, but President Jair Bolsonaro and his government have delayed the process. A recent poll says eight out of 10 Brazilians are in favor of the COVID-19 vaccine, despite political preferences and fake news. Al Jazeera's Monica Yanakiev reports.
