Smoke and ash billow from underwater volcanic eruption

The Tonga Geological Services have released images showing plumes of smoke and ash from an earlier eruption of the underwater volcano off the Polynesian archipelago of Tonga. The images were taken before the second massive eruption on Saturday, which triggered a tsunami and killed at least two people.
