Colombia's new youth councils encourage political participation

After years of delays, young Colombians finally had their chance to vote for new special councils. 12 million people aged between 14 and 28 were eligible to choose who will represent them, including at meetings with the Colombian Congress. Critics say that the youth councils will hold very little power and that their creation is meant to quell discontent. Al Jazeera's @Alessandro Rampietti reports from Bogota, Colombia.
