Protesters against vaccine mandate in Belgium clash with police

A protest in Brussels turned violent as thousands demonstrated to denounce measures aimed at halting the spread of COVID-19. Belgian police sprayed water cannons and fired tear gas on demonstrators, with some in the crowd throwing fireworks and beer cans. About 8,000 people tried to reach the European Union headquarters in the Belgian capital but were blocked. Al Jazeera's @Nadim Baba reports.
