Colombia: Troops deployed in Bogota to confront crime wave

Hundreds of soldiers have been deployed to patrol the streets of Colombia's capital and other cities. They are supporting police, who are fighting a wave of violent robberies. The violent crime has increased as the economy started to recover from months of COVID-19 lockdowns.
