UMaT urges Gov't to use its technology to clean polluted water bodies | Citi Newsroom

The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources says the emergence of a technology to clean water bodies polluted by illegal mining is an important remedy.

The technology was developed by the University of Mines and Technology to clear turbid water bodies back to their normal state.

So far, the technology has passed laboratory test and has also been used on a River in Tarkwa, but it is yet to be deployed fully. Citi News' Kwaku Aduamah Ansah reports.
