Lebanon’s famed composer Elias Rahbani dies after battling COVID

Lebanon is mourning the loss of the composer and lyricist Elias Rahbani, who died at the age of 82 after a battle with COVID-19. He was known for a unique genre of music, blending Middle Eastern and Western classs and composed hundreds of songs and soundtracks for theatre and films.
