Farmers want local hatcheries developed to lessen shocks | Business Dashboard

The Greater Accra Poultry Farmers Association wants the government to hasten processes of developing and certifying local hatcheries to meet global standards in order to lessen shocks associated with such outbreaks.

It will be recalled that Government earlier this month temporarily banned the importation of poultry products from Europe following the outbreak of the highly pathogenic avian influenza Subtype H5N8. The following report has more.
