Value of mobile money transactions drop after 6 months of increase - BOG report | Business Dashboard

The total value of Mobile Money transactions has fallen for the first time after five months of consistent increase.

The value stood at 58 billion Ghana cedis in October as compared to the 58.8 billion cedis in September, representing a marginal decrease of 1.4 percent.

On a yearly basis, the total value saw a 104 percent increase as compared to the 28.4 billion Ghana cedis recorded in the same period last year. The following report throws more light on the increasing acceptance of mobile money by Ghanaians.
