Police officer suspended after shoving elderly protester to the ground | US protests

Police were filmed violently shoving this man as they ordered him to move out of the way. The 75-year-old fell and suffered a head injury. Officers were out enforcing citywide curfew orders as unrest against racist police violence sweeps the US. The man was taken to hospital. He's said to be in “serious but stable condition”.Initially police said he tripped and fellbut later suspended two officers without pay over the incident. New York's governor condemned the officers' actions.
