Nicaragua gov't accused of ‘ignoring' COVID-19 pandemic

As nations around the world locked down this spring to help contain the coronavirus, Nicaragua's president assured his country there was nothing to worry about. Schools and businesses remained open as Daniel Ortega encouraged residents to attend concerts, parades and sporting events. Doctors in the country say the situation is now out of control.
