Rumors of ‘CHILD MILITIA’ in Atlanta are fake news - National Guard

The rumors of child militia being deployed in Georgia are fake news, National Guard says.

Videos of a line of guards, appearing to be ahem, somewhat vertically challenged, did the rounds on social media. Users were aghast that the National Guard would use child soldiers to control the protests. Well, The National Guard of Georgia has confirmed that all soldiers in the video were adults. A spokeswoman noted that their regulations require members to be 18 years of age or older, or 17 with parent's consent.
