Italy reopens borders amid hopes tourists can kickstart its economy devastated by lockdown

After three months of economically crippling lockdown, Italy has reopened to tourists from Europe – though conditions apply. Italy was the first European country to be hit hard by the coronavirus and has officially reported more than 33,000 deaths.
