Could Your Local Underpass Be Hiding A Bronze Age Secret? | Bbc Timestamp

In 1992, a wooden boat was discovered buried 20ft beneath an underpass in Dover, Kent. Known as the Dover Boat, dating to around 1,520 BC, it's the world's oldest known seagoing vessel. Made of oak planks and yew wood, it carried cargo between Britain and mainland Europe. This well-preserved vessel is currently showcased at the Dover Museum and Bronze Age Boat Gallery.
