Are You Related To A Neanderthal? | Bbc Timestamp
Do modern humans have more in common with Neanderthals than we realise?
Anatomist professor Alice Roberts and biologist Dr George McGavin join together with a team of international experts at the Prehistoric Autopsy HQ in Glasgow to reveal the latest research that is casting a new light on Neanderthals, how they might have lived and what we might have inherited from them.
This research was fed to a team of model makers, who then spent months painstakingly reconstructing skeletons, muscles, skin and hair to reveal what our ancient ancestor might just have looked like.
This clip is from Prehistoric Autopsy (2012).
