GFA To Scrutinize PUMA Deal - Kurt Okraku
Mr Kurt Edwin Okraku has revealed that the Ghana Football Association will review the details Ghana’s kit sponsorship deal with Puma following a renewal of the deal.
The German kit manufacturer contract with the country expired before AFCON 2019 but the various national teams are still kitted by Puma but the negotiations for the extension of the contract was handled by Dr Kofi Amoah, who was the chairman of the Normalization Committee.
However, the key details of the deal including its value and also its duration remain unknown.
In an interview with Citi Sports, Mr Okraku revealed that his administration is still in the process of settling down and thus have not had the privilege of fully perusing the Puma contract.
“We took over on the 25th and received formal handing over notes on the 26th of November.
“We are currently going over all the papers and we know that we have a new relationship with Puma.
“Once we go through and we are sure we can speak to the specifics,” he told journalists gathered at a Meet the Press session at the Information Ministry."
