Fans Flood Streets Of Rio As Flamengo Win Copa Libertadores Against River Plater [PHOTOS]

Millions of Flamengo fans paraded the streets of Rio de Janeiro to welcome their team in a grand class after Copa Libertadores victory in Peru against River Plates.

The Brazilian outfit needed a lady gasp brace from Inter Milan flop Gabriel Barbosa – who finished as the top scorer of the tournament – to overturn River Plates’ early strike in the first half.

Gabigol’s brace which culminated in a win for Flamengo ended their 38-year run of not winning the Copa Libertadores – South American version of the UEFA Champions League.
