GFA Names Ashford Tettey-Oku To Chair Club Licensing Appeals Committee

The Executive Council (Exco) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has unveiled members of the Club Licensing Appeal Committee as it confirms Ashford Tettey-Oku at the chairman of the body.

The former chairman of the Ghana Premier League Board (PLB) will be working closely with Dr. Kwaku Ofosu Asare as his Vice Chairman with the likes of Alex Kotey, Osei Owusu Bempah and Yaa Ankamah Annan being named as members.

Outlining the role of the committee, the GFA has shared: “The Club Licensing Appeals Committee is the sole body that decides on appeals submitted by either a club who has been refused a license or the GFA against a club which has obtained a license”.

“The Committee has the sole authority to make a final decision on whether a license should be granted or not, in accordance with the provisions of the GFA Statutes and the GFA Club Licensing Regulations”.
