Hearts Expected To Spend $700,000 On First Phase Of Pobiman Project

The first phase of the Pobiman Academy Project being undertaken by Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak is reportedly going to cost the club a whopping $700,000.

The Pobiman project when completed will have a staff residence, senior housing unit, gym, training centers (pitches), laundry, swimming pool, lockers, toilet facilities, kitchen and dining hall.

Though Turkish construction firm Prefabex Construction Limited will be handling the project, the Phobians are taking charge of all expenses.

According to checks by Oyerepa FM, the first phase of the Pobiman Academy Project will cost them $600,000 to $700,000.

In an interview with the club’s supporter’s Union deputy organizer Abass Sule, he has confirmed that funding will be coming from board chairman Togbe Afede XIV.

“It’s true Togbe Afede XIV is lending us the money for the project and we are grateful a lot”, Abass said in an interview with Oyerepa FM.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak is yet to announce the date for the starting of the project.
