AFCON 2019: Timothy Fosu-Mensah Lauds Black Stars After Round 16 Qualification

Manchester United defender, Timothy Fosu Mensah has hailed Black Stars qualification to the next round of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana defeated Guinea Bissau 2-0 to progress to the last 16 of the competition, where they face Tunisia on Monday, July 8.

After a poor first-half display, the team bounced back in the second with Jordan Ayew and Thomas Partey scoring both goals for the country.

After booking the round 16 qualification, the Dutch-born Ghanaian international has heaped praises on the team.

Ghana will stay at Ismailia after emerging as the Group F winners.
