2019 Women's WAFU: Black Queens Start On A Bright Note By Beating Senegal

The Black Queens of Ghana started the 2019 Women’s Wafu Championship on a good note after they posted a 2-0 win over Senegal on Wednesday.

Both sides failed to score in the first half but a strong come back by Mercy Tagoe’s girls ensured they registered two goals after break to begin the tournament with a victory.

Alice Kusi and Abdulai Mukarama scored the two goals for Ghana.

Janet Egyir was, however, woman of the match following her impressive display throughout the crunchy game.
