CONFIRMED: Solomon Asante Loses Father

Ghanaian International and USL Superstar Solomon Asante have sadly lost his father, Mr Christian Asante.

Reports indicate that the 80-year-old passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019, at the family house in Sefwi Wiawso in the Western north region.

The causes of death have not been declared even though the deceased has been suffering from an illness in recent weeks.

The explosive winger has been in impressive form for American side Phoenix Rising in the ongoing United Soccer League Championship.

He has so far registered 4 assists found the back of the net 3 times in 8 games.

His exploits in the early stage of the league have already earned him two Team of the Week slots.

The family of the Asante’s is yet to meet to decide on the funeral arrangement of the deceased.
