CAF CC: Kotoko Arrive In Zambia For Nkana Clash On Sunday

Asante Kotoko have arrived in Zambia for the CAF Confederation Cup game against Nkana FC in Kitwe on Sunday.

The Reds touched down in Lusaka on Thursday afternoon enroute to Kitwe where the game will be played.

Kotoko left the shores of the country with 18-man squad and are poised for victory in Zambia after beating Zesco United in their second group game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The team was expected to train on Thursday following their arrival in Kitwe but the gaffer cancelled it insisting the players needed some rest.

However, the players will go through some drills and body tuning on Friday morning before engaging in rigorous exercise later on the same day.

Kotoko last lost to Nkana in 1993 by a solitary.
