Black Satellites Leave For Niger Ahead Of Africa U20 Cup Of Nations Tournament

The Black Satellites is expected to leave Ghana today for the 2019 Africa U20 Cup of Nations in Niger.

Jimmy Cobblah's side made it to this year’s competition after eliminating Algeria and Benin in the qualifiers.

Having been in camp for three months, the team is set to embark for the real test when they face off with Senegal, Mali and Burkina Faso in Group B.

The two-time African Champions who missed out in the last edition in Zambia are poised to clinch their third title but will have to fend off competitions from the likes of Nigeria who are record holders having won it on seven occasions.

Head Coach Jimmy Cobblah is also expected to name his final squad for the competition.
