CAF CC: Kotoko Supporters Told Not To Lower Their Expectations Ahead of Coton Sports Clash In Kumasi

Accra representative for Asante Kotoko, Edmund Ackah has called on the supporters to expect massive results against Coton Sport on Sunday.

The MTN FA Cup champions recorded a 3:2 win over the home side in the first league on Sunday in Cameroon.

The Porcupine Warriors will host the Cameroonian champions in the second league at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

However, the supporters of the club are expecting to make it to the group phase of the competition since 2008 but ahead of the clash, the supporters have been told to keep their hopes alive and expect good results on Sunday.

"Coton Sport FC will fly from Accra to Kumasi with Unity Air for the 2nd leg," he told Asempa FM.

"We haven't stopped training since we returned from Cameroon.

"Our fans shouldn't lower their expectations of the club. We have declared "Red Week" in Kumasi ahead of our 2nd leg against Coton Sport FC and we expect all Kotoko fans to be in the red mood after the match on Sunday.

He also revealed that the management have prepared a special package for the players if they seal qualification to the group phase of the competition and also confirmed that Augustine Sefa is disqualified for the game.

"Management have agreed to increase the qualification bonus for the players if they beat Coton Sport in Kumasi.

"Kwame Bonsu is qualified to play against Coton Sport but Augustine Sefa is not," he added.
